There are many women who have had a tubal ligation and are just not the same after. Many have symptoms that will come and go and others have symptoms that plague them every single day making their lives miserable.
All too many of these women will go to their physicians and tell them what is happening. Most will get answers that are not putting them at ease at all. Many are told it’s their hormones “acting” up. Some are told they are just getting older while others are just bluntly told that there is no such thing as Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome.
If there is no such thing then why are so many women affected? Is it all in their heads? When will the medical community finally realize that there is something to the name Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome?
The following are some of the symptoms women are suffering from with Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome:
Excessive mood swings
Feelings of guilt for being this way
Tiredness
Depression
Panic and Anxiety
Night Sweats
Change in Appetite
Feelings of Despair
Excessive bleeding and cramping during menstrual cycle
Headaches
Painful Ovulation
This list is just a few of what many women have been suffering from. But, there is help available to those who want it. It is called tubal reversal surgery and has done wonders for many women who are enjoying getting their lives back finally.
Dr. Gary S. Berger along with Dr. Charles Monteith of Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center has been reversing tubal ligations on women who are suffering Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome. Dr. Berger does not to be told this is real and is affecting women’s lives in a negative way. He is helping and in the midst of conducting a study to compile data to help women and make the medical field understand this is very real.
For more information, Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center has an extensive website. On this website is a message board filled with women who suffer from Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome who are uniting and supporting each other through friendships. Be sure to check out the videos that are there to better understand tubal reversal surgery.
If you know someone who suffers from Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome please pass this along.
