Tubal Reversal Surgery Patient Tells All

For the many women who have had a tubal ligation and regretted it there are many that have decided to have tubal reversal surgery. Many times women change their minds about wanting more children due to a divorce and remarriage. Others just have decided that they had their tubal ligation much too early and now want another child in the family.

The courage these women display is amazing. To go and have a tubal ligation and to save to be able to afford it shows courage. One of the great things that women who have already had tubal reversal surgery try to stress to others that are about to have surgery is not to give up hope.

In the video, Tubal Reversal Surgery Patient Gives Testimony, Dr. Berger of Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center sits with one of his patients and she tells the story of the surgery. Not only did she recover very fast but also went on to have not one but three children after tubal reversal surgery.

The woman speaks of her journey with tubal reversal and the miscarriages she had before having a viable pregnancy. She speaks of not giving up hope and that she hopes this message will get to other women who are getting discouraged.

The journey to tubal reversal may not always be an easy one but it is well worth it. At Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center the surgeons and staff are dedicated to helping the women and couples who desire to have children after a tubal ligation. The women that have had tubal reversal surgery give testimony on the message board on how well they were treated when the day came for the surgery.

Are You Considering Tubal Reversal?

Many women who have had a tubal ligation change their minds after it is completed. For many the idea of tubal reversal will make them feel whole again. For others who suffer from Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome the idea of tubal reversal will help stop the pain that they have had to endure month after month since the tubal ligation.

For many women and couples wanting to have a tubal reversal this is a decision that is not taken lightly. And rightly so as this is a surgery that will change your life. As with any surgery it is nerve racking and much thought and energy goes into making the final decision.

There are many doctors out there that tout the fact they are number one with the best facilities for performing the surgery. Many questions should be asked and answered before a decision is made on tubal reversal.

The following is a list to help with the research:

How is the surgery performed? Will you have to stay in the hospital or does the doctor have the expertise and knowledge to perform the tubal reversal on an outpatient basis?
Does the doctor have a well-trained and compassionate staff that care about women and their partners? This is something that is top priority.
Check to see if the doctor and staff have a support system in place for women and couples trying to make the decision for tubal reversal. If they do not, then can they recommend someone or a group?
Does the doctor have a website? This is something that can be used to answer questions, get support, and educate.
Ask the physician to produce statistics on the tubal reversal surgeries that have been performed. Some doctors have been using the statistics from Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center on their websites. Make sure the doctor has his or her OWN statistics.
What kind of follow-up care will be offered after the tubal reversal surgery? Will the doctor or staff check in with you once or twice or will he or she continue to follow-up for years after including through your pregnancy?
Is there someone available if you have a question before or after the scheduled surgery? Try to find a facility that has a staff member available 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. Yes, this is available by some of the experts out there.
Tubal reversal is available and by some of the best known doctors out there and many women and couples have become proud parents. This is a surgery that is delicate and must be performed right the first time. With a little research and questions the best tubal reversal can be obtained.
