Facebook Tubal Reversal Family Continues to Grow

Started in March of 2010 the Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center Facebook group now has over 1000+ members. Not only do patients of the center flock to the group for conversation and support but also is available to those who are interested in the tubal reversal procedure.

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina has helped over 9000 couples with the low-cost outpatient procedure. Although a majority of couples choose the procedure to have fertility restored there are now more and more women seeking relief from Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome.

Facebook, once thought as a social network for college students has grown faster than expected. This social networking site has become a place for friends and family to stay and touch. Those that belong to the tubal reversal group check in regularly to make sure all is well with their extended tubal reversal families.

Facebook is a great platform for those researching the procedure as well. The group page has videos and a message area as well as links to important information concerning the procedure. With social networking has come a way for couples to spread the news about just how well the procedure works to restore hope to those who thought they would never be able to have children again naturally.

Social networking sites as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter are becoming an important part of everyday life and are making finding information much easier. Before social networking many would have to research on the Internet through various resources such as tubal reversal press releases.

For more information please feel free to visit the Tubal Reversal Facebook Group or Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center.

Tubes Tied and Regret Having the Procedure

There are millions of women each year that have their tubes tied. Many are happy with the decision and their lives go on. But there are also a certain number of women that regret the decision of having their tubes tied or what is called a tubal ligation and want it repaired or reversed.

Why do women regret something that they had made the decision to do? There are a number of reasons but the two most well known are because they want to have another child and Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome.

Wanting to have another child after a tubal ligation is not unheard of. Many marriages end in divorce and many will remarry. Often, the new husband has no children of his own. And the wife wants to be able to have a child with him.

The next most common reason why women regret having their tubes tied is because they are suffering from what is known as Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome. Although not widely recognized in the medical field, it takes its toll on those that suffer with it. From mood swings to losing their hair to pain that is debilitating women seek relief.

Those that have tried to receive help when dealing with PTLS do find help but it is usually through tubal ligation reversal surgery. Many are angry that they were not warned of this before having the ligation.

For those regretting having a ligation and wanting another child there are choices available. The first that is usually offered as an option is IVF or in vitro fertilization. This procedure does work but the chances of it working on the first treatment are very slim. This procedure is usually very expensive and many cannot afford the multiple treatments it takes to gain a successful pregnancy.

The second option is tubal reversal surgery. Not only is this procedure less expensive it is much more natural. There are no drugs involved and the couple has a chance of conceiving each month. If the couple chooses to have another child after the first tubal reversal baby there are no need for any treatments.

The great thing about ligation reversal surgery is the fact that the pregnancy success rate is better than with the alternative treatment of IVF. The cost of surgery at the leading center is under $7000.00, proven less than one treatment of IVF.

When considering a reversal surgery, be sure to choose a surgeon that is experienced in this type of surgery. The experience of the doctor could make the difference in whether the woman is able to conceive or not. By locating a surgeon that performs just this type of surgery the chances of successful pregnancy are better.

Having your tubes tied does not mean that you will never be able to have a child again or that you will have to suffer with PTLS for the rest of your life.

Tubal Reversal and Coping With Miscarriage

After the long stretch of planning the tubal reversal surgery the time to begin trying to conceive has finally arrived. The couple is excited to begin the newest part of their journey and hopefully a positive pregnancy test will be in the near future.

The day arrives and the woman suspects she is pregnant. She performs the pregnancy test and she gets a positive result. The couple, like so many others, has become pregnant after tubal ligation reversal.

The woman announces her pregnancy and the couple cannot believe that their dream is now becoming a reality. Early Pregnancy Protocol is started and the pregnancy is followed very closely. As the numbers are coming in they are not doubling, as they should. Something is not right and the risk of ectopic pregnancy is always there.

The ultrasound is performed and nothing is seen in the fallopian tubes. This is a good sign. But a miscarriage is happening. The couple is heartbroken and must endure the pain that goes with the miscarriage. Often times they will reach out to their friends on the tubal reversal message board and get support to help make it through this heartbreaking time.

The question arises as to whether miscarriage happens more often after tubal ligation reversal. The answer is no. But, after tubal reversal and learning the body signals through each cycle of trying to conceive many use a pregnancy test much earlier than most women would. They are aware of many pregnancies before a period is even missed. Thus, more tubal reversal women know they are pregnant much earlier and know when they begin to bleed that they were in fact pregnant.

The risk of ectopic pregnancy is slightly higher after tubal reversal but not miscarriage. Many couples do question this and rightly so. Any couple that has been through this journey should question this.

Is miscarriage different because a couple has had a tubal reversal? It may be considering so much has been done to restore fertility. Does the emotional pain hurt more for the reversal couple? There is not a person that can answer what is in another’s heart. But pain it is.

Whether a couple conceives “normally” or whether with the help of tubal ligation reversal a miscarriage is still losing a child. The pain goes deep and only time can heal this. There are people who will say things to help lessen the pain and most times it doesn’t help.

The one biggest thing someone can say to someone who has miscarried is that they are there is they need someone to talk to. The pain is what it is and this something that every Mother that has a miscarriage has to face and work through.

The important thing to remember is that although couples may suffer miscarriages they go on to have healthy children. Dreams do come true.

Problems Following Tubal Ligation Helped Using Tubal Reversal

Many is the medical field do not recognize that Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome actually exists. But women that suffer from PTLS will tell you differently. They will tell you that the symptoms that they are experiencing are not in their heads and that the problems started right after they had the tubal ligation or their “tubes tied”.

All too many times after a woman has had her tubes tied she will begin experiencing a myriad of problems. From irregular periods to heavy bleeding, unexplained weight gain, mood swings, hair loss and this is just a few.

When women begin suffering with PTLS at first they cannot figure out what is causing it. With time and research they begin to figure out the puzzle and begin to seek out help. They may begin with the primary care physician or the physician that actually performed the ligation. And they are often met with resistance. Many in the medical world do not believe that Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome even exists and there is not enough data to back it up. They may begin by putting the patient on the pill to try to regulate the cycles and bleeding. Of course, many wonder why if they had a ligation would the doctor do this? And it does upset many because the whole reason for having their tubes tied was because they did not want to have to worry about birth control.

Many do begin the treatment but it doesn’t help or the hormones will begin to play havoc on their systems. And desperate, these women will begin to search out answers to try to resolve the problems.

This is the time that many learn about tubal ligation reversal and how it has helped many women in the past. The leading tubal reversal center located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina has many couples who have the tubal reversal procedure not to have more children but for relief of PTLS. Many times this is the main reason for the reversal and if the couple is blessed with another child they are very happy.

The cost of outpatient tubal reversal surgery is not nearly as expensive as many are led to believe. The cost at the leading center is about $7000.00. There are even times throughout the year that the price is lowered. Many women will inquire about these dates and plan their surgeries at this time.

Recovery from tubal reversal surgery does not take long. Many of the patients are up and about hours after surgery and some have even reported on the message board that they are out shopping while visiting scenic Chapel Hill.

For more information on tubal reversal surgery for relief of PTLS visit: Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center or call (919) 968-4656 to speak with a tubal reversal nurse.

Tubal Reversal Surgery in the United States

Amplify’d from www.tubal-reversal.net

Dear Dr. Berger,

You carried out my reversal surgery over two years ago now and to be honest we gave up trying well over a year ago or more. I was just happy to have my periods back to normal! I only got my hpt positive today although I have suspected for a couple of weeks. Only time will tell if this is a healthy pregnancy and that it results in a healthy baby, but regardless of what the outcome is I am just so thankful for the opportunity to conceive. Wow what a miracle – I am finding this hard to believe. I can’t even begin to thank you. I just knew that flying half way round the world to you was the right thing to do!

Just wanted to drop in for a quick update. My husband and I just got back last night from our trip to Chapel Hill for our TR. We had a great time in Chapel Hill, the hotel was amazing, probably the best we've ever stayed at and we got the least expensive room! Our experience at the reversal center was absolutely top notch and the best medical experience I've ever had! All I can say is that the rave reviews we have all been reading on this message board are well deserved!

I'm still a bit sore this evening, but I think a lot of that has to do with hiking around three airports and a couple of long flights yesterday. Even with the soreness though, it's not as bad as the TL was in 2001, and I'll be weaning off the pain meds tomorrow.

I have good lengths, 5 cm on the left and 6.5 cm on the right, and Dr. Berger said they look nice and healthy so I guess only time will tell when it comes to conception! Whether we conceive again or not though, it's great just to feel whole again and have this behind us. It felt like it took forever for us to get to this point and now I'm just looking forward to being healed and getting on with business as usual.

I'm curious to see how the reversal will affect my cycles and PTLS symptoms. My first fertile time post reversal is coming up over the next several days and I don't think I'll be up to nookie, so I'm hoping to see at least a little bit of improvement. I'm not holding my breath, but with our history (we have been married 15 years and already have four kids together) and the regularity of my cycles I suspect I may not have a whole lot of cycles for comparison. We won't be stressing TTC but won't be preventing either, again I say, only time will tell!!

Whatever the future holds for us, we will be eternally grateful to Dr. Berger and all the staff at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center for their part in our journey to fix something we broke almost 10 years ago.

God Bless and good luck to all of you who are still waiting for your time in the OR, and plenty of baby dust to those of you TTCRead more at forums.tubal-reversal.net

I am so excited! My TR is scheduled for next month. My husband and I decided to get the TR because of my horrible PTLS. I can't wait to be back to my old self.

I am experiencing some odd emotions that I am wondering if anyone can relate to?

I had 2 children and got my tubes tied during my c-section. Only once since I had my tubes tied have I thought "maybe I will get it reversed and try for another" that day I went to visit a good friend's brand new baby in the hospital. Who doesn't long for another baby while sitting in the hospital rocker holding a new baby that has only been in the world for a few hours?!?!?!

I haven't longed for more children or regretted my decision to not have anymore....

UNTIL NOW!

I am almost obsessive over the idea of another (My husband says I'm acting like a Jack Russell Terrier.) My youngest is 3 and the baby stage in our house is just about gone and now with the option about to be back on the table I want to try. I feel so wishy-washy!

Is it ok for me to just accept that circumstances have changed and a change of plans happens?

Caring For Yourself While on the Tubal Reversal Journey

As women we tend to always be caring for others. And it is no different when you are getting ready to have the tubal reversal procedure. Although we know we have to take care of ourselves many others things can get in the way. And it happens to the best of us no matter how determined a person is.

Before the tubal reversal even takes place we should be getting into shape and taking vitamins as well as watching what we eat. Exercise is important not only for our bodies but for our minds as well. This is the time that many begin walking and walking can help distress us and help us think things through.

When caring for oneself for tubal reversal surgery it is important to remember that our emotions will at times be running high. We will worry whether or not the reversal will work. How long it will take us to conceive and on and on the thoughts go. For many actually having to lose the weight before surgery and wondering if we are going to be able to make the goal may cause stress.

Keeping a positive attitude as well as caring for our bodies is the only thing that will get us through. Having a great support system may not seem like the easiest thing to be found but it is available. The Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center website has proven to be such a place. The blog and tubal reversal message board have provided support to hundreds of women.

While caring for yourself for tubal reversal just remember that your womb may soon be the place where your baby will call home for nine months.

Tubal Ligation Reversal After a Loss

Tubal ligation reversal after a loss is something that couples choose to do and it restores hope that has been lost. Giving the gift of life is something that is dear to many of us and when life is taken from us there is no replacing it. But, after a tubal ligation and a loss of a child how does a couple cope?

The tragic loss of a child is something that no one should ever have to endure, but it happens and life needs to move forward. Many couples that lose a child either to a tragic accident or illness in many instances have other children to care for. Children bring so much joy into our lives that we must pick up the pieces and carry on for those that remain with us.

So, after a tubal ligation is it possible to have another child? Yes, it is possible and it doesn’t have to be using the in vitro fertilization procedure. Tubal ligation reversal surgery has been proven to have better pregnancy success rates and many choose this procedure just because of that fact.

After losing a child there is a void. Many women who have a tubal ligation not only bear the sorrow that they have just lost a child but cannot have another because of the ligation. That is until they hear about ligation reversal. And their hopes begin to be restored.

It is not uncommon for couples to seek out tubal reversal after loss. They are not trying to replace the child they have lost by any means. There is a void and a longing that is in their hearts and having a child does help the healing. There are many angels that are looking down on these couples.

Having a tubal reversal is a journey but it is a journey that isn’t traveled alone. On the Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center message board there are many women who are traveling the same road. When a couple needs comfort and understanding often times this is where they turn

Having those who understand what you are going through and what you are about to face in the journey helps lessen the burden. There are friends there who care and will be there to support you as well as help you through the journey of restoring hope and bring new life into your home.

Tubal Reversal Patient Satisfaction and How Reports Help Others

When a couple is researching tubal reversal surgery and are trying to choose the right surgeon what do they look for? This is something that many couples do not know and have a hard time trying to figure out the questions to answer.

  1. How much or how many years experience does the surgeon have? The more experience the better when it comes to the surgeon of your choice. This is something that you will want to have to do once and have it done right.
  2. Where did the surgeon study? Is he accredited? If so, where?
  3. How is the staff? If you call the office are they willing to answer questions? Although this may not be the surgeon it is still the staff and you will have to have communication to have questions answered.
  4. What is the pregnancy success rate? When you ask this question be sure the numbers are that of solid evidence. Many pull numbers from the sky. To date there is only one center that keeps actual statistics and this is Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center.

Choosing the right tubal reversal surgeon is not an easy task. This is a life altering decision and should not be taken lightly. Whether you are having a reversal to have a child or for Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome relief you will want the best surgeon available.

Cost is a huge factor for many. Because a surgeon is more expensive it does not make the surgeon better. Many surgeons still perform the tubal reversal in the hospital and not as an outpatient procedure. The leading center not only performs this as a outpatient but the cost is also considerably less because of this fact.

Check the tubal reversal patient satisfaction reports. If a patient writes and states how the surgery went, how she was treated and how she feels after surgery then this is a great insight. Many patients will email in their opinions once they are up and about from surgery. This can happen within hours.

For questions on tubal ligation reversal and how other women feel about it visit Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center. If you would like to speak with a tubal reversal nurse, call (919) 968-4656 for a free phone consultation.

Choosing The Right Surgeon For Your Tubal Ligation Reversal

Choosing the right surgeon to perform your tubal reversal surgery it not easy. You need to know what to ask what information is really true and what the chances are for a successful surgery.

The research for choosing the right surgeon can be quite daunting and that is not even counting the actually appointment making and getting ready for the surgery. Because so many couples know this might be their only chance of having a child it can become very stressful.

In order to keep the stress down the best thing a couple can do is to research. Research until you feel you have gotten all of your answers figured out. There is no reason to rush through things and feel you have made a mistake after the reversal is completed.

One of the first things couples do is go to websites where tubal reversal surgeons are listed and rated. This can be quite an interesting task because many times there may be a couple of good reviews and then there are the people who were not happy with the service or care provided. Be sure to read through everything.

After you have chosen the surgeon do not be afraid to see if the company has a website. If they do have a website, is it informative or just it just make the surgery and tubal reversal surgery look like a piece of cake? Call the office and speak with someone who works there. Ask questions. And if your question is not answered fully the first time do not be afraid to ask again. This is the one chance you may have to see how the staff will interact with you.

Be sure to ask if the staff and surgeon will be available after your surgery is completed. Not just during the healing time but for months after or maybe even years. How is this questions answered? If you are treated like you are taking up too much time then steer clear. This is a pretty good indicator of the treatment you will receive after the surgery is completed.

Does the surgeon have any type of success rate that you can see? Or are numbers being pulled out of the sky. You want concrete evidence. Again ask and if you do not like the answer move on.

The experience of the surgeon and staff has a lot to do with a successful outcome of the tubal reversal surgery. Does the surgeon perform this on a full time basis or just a few times a month? How well is the staff educated in reversal surgery? Although this may sound little now it may cause regret later after your surgery.

Why Couples Go to Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center

When a couple decides they are going to Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center they have researched and learned all they can about the procedure. But what makes them choose this particular Center over others?

This is a common question that others come to the tubal reversal message board to ask. They want to know WHY these couples made the final decision. Did they just go on the Internet and this center was the first to pop up in the search? Not hardly.

It is no huge secret that the more experience the surgeon has performing the tubal reversal surgery the better your chances are for getting pregnant. By choosing a surgeon that has vast experience in this field not only helps the chances for pregnancy but they flat out have probably seen every type of ligation possible.

The question of tubal damage among those researching is common. If my tubes are cut and burned can they still be repaired enough to get pregnant? The answer is yes, if you choose a surgeon that has the experience and has done these types of reversals before.

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center has the surgeons with the experience. Dr. Gary Berger is an early pioneer in the field of tubal reversal. He has developed the low-cost, outpatient tubal reversal that has made it possible for over 8000 couples to regain fertility.

Dr. Berger is not the only surgeon who performs surgery at CHTRC, he is joined by Dr. Charles Monteith. Dr. Monteith has extensive experience in obstetrics and gynecology and has been trained in tubal reversal by the best, Dr. Berger. One of the main reasons Dr. Monteith gives for joining CHTRC is that he feels that he is making a difference in peoples lives.

When patients are asked why they chose this center there are a variety as reasons such as what is posted here, ‘tammyfromWI’ who posts, “I was actually directed to CHTRC thru the UW-Madison's Infertility Clinic. They told me that it was well know all over the U.S and throughout the world. I could have had it done at the UW's clinic but they told me it would cost around $20,000 and have to do an inpatient stay. I talked to them for about five more minutes, came home, researched the website, and then made the call to CHTRC. I scheduled my surgery for 3/24/10. We decided to wait a couple months to TTC and in June started. We did end up with a BFP. It was a keeper. I'm currently 19 weeks pregnant and so happy with my decision to go with them. They do this everyday and know what they are doing.”

Choosing Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center has been one of the most rewarding things these couples have chosen to do!

When To Discuss Early Pregnancy Monitoring Protocol After Tubal Reversal

positive-pregnancy-test Now that you have had the tubal reversal surgery it is very important to follow the Early Pregnancy Protocol. One of the best pieces of advice to if you think there may be a slight chance that you are pregnant begin with the HPT’s.

Early Pregnancy Protocol is so important and the staff at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center cannot stress this enough. Because there is a slightly higher chance of ectopic pregnancy it is very important to have your HCG levels checked when recommended.

This can be a source of stress with many tubal reversal patients. When you are considering having the tubal reversal procedure it is very important to make sure your regular doctor knows about the protocol and is will to follow it.

A few women on the tubal reversal message board have made sure that their physicians were told about the Early Pregnancy Protocol and then the day arrives when they get the positive pregnancy test only to find out the physician is no onboard with protocol.

There is not any woman who wants to find out after she is pregnant that her physician has changed his/her mind about the protocol. This does nothing but cause stress for those involved.

Before having your tubal reversal procedure it is recommended that you print out the Tubal Reversal Early Pregnancy Protocol and bring it to you local physician and be sure they will follow it. It is much easier to find a new physician before you are pregnant rather than while you are pregnant.

Tubal Reversal Women and the Courage it Takes

The journey to tubal reversal is something that many of us do not think about. But, imagine having your tubes tied because you are in a bad marriage or just think you are done having children? I am sure that is something that many of us have done. What many do not hear about is the women that do not want their tubes tied and know it but still go through with it.

The days of guilt after having the procedure performed seem endless. Some get divorced and remarry and their new spouse has no children of his own. The guilt just gets stronger and stronger and festers to the point where that is all one thinks about.

Then we find out there is a procedure performed that is called tubal ligation reversal surgery. Of course we research. Many find the Tubal Reversal Pregnancy Report 2009, which was produced by Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center, and we are amazed that the pregnancy success rate following tubal reversal is better than following IVF (in vitro fertilization). Who would have thought?

It almost seems too good to be true right? The cost must be about the price of a house we think with those odds. It isn’t at all near the price of a house. The tubal reversal procedure at CHTRC, which is the leading Center, is under $7000.00.

Why does it cost so much less than other places? Because the surgeons perform the surgery as an outpatient procedure and they are highly trained in the field Not only is this safer for the patient but also less expensive with no hospital bills involved.

With a repair rate of 98% there is any surgeon out there with better repair statistics. Not only is this great news there is also a prepayment plan that can be used so that the cost doesn’t have to be as large all at once.

Guilt is a very powerful emotion. And the more women that know that tubal reversal surgery is available and actually had great pregnancy success the less guilt there will be.

If you are researching tubal reversal surgery be sure to visit the Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center website. There is a very active message board with plenty of women who have gone through the procedure (and yes have tubal reversal babies) that are more than happy to answer questions.

The tubal reversal nurses are also available for a free phone consultation at: (919) 967-8637

Tubal Reversal Surgery or IVF?

In this video a couple discusses with Dr. Berger, Medical Director of Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center, why they chose tubal reversal surgery and not IVF (in vitro fertilization). One thing that many couples talk about is the fact that it is much more natural. Although IVF does work for many the cost and medical intervention that is needed is too much for some. The wonderful thing is that many do not know that tubal ligation reversal actually has a better pregnancy success rate than the alternative treatment of IVF.

The Cost of Tubal Reversal?

Tubal reversal costs about $7000.00 and the couple has a chance of conceiving each month that they desire. There is no medical intervention needed until the patient becomes pregnant and then the Early Pregnancy Protocol is followed to ensure patient safety.

Tubal Reversal- Which Early Pregnancy Test Is the Best?

In most cases the reason a woman gets a tubal reversal is to have more children. Although there are some who get the tubal reversal to relieve the symptoms of Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome the majority want to have one or more children.

After having the tubal reversal procedure the woman must take the time to heal. The leading surgeons at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center recommend that a couple can begin to try to conceive as soon as the woman feels up to it. Many begin just a few short weeks later. The time to recover from tubal reversal depends on the individual and if a woman tries to do too much too soon.

On the tubal reversal message board woman who have fully recovered and are now trying to conceive ask what is the best early pregnancy test to use there is a variety of answers offered. Some of the top recommended brands are:

The Dollar Store Brand- Many have good luck with this test. It is highly recommended for those POAS addicts. What is POAS? This is a term that is used for “Pee On A Stick”.
Answer
Clear Blue Digital Easy Digital

Getting the tests online is much more cost effective. Many times you can order in bulk and then save on the shipping. For those who like to begin testing soon after ovulation and suspecting it may still be too early it is both more cost effective as well as well as time saving.

How Do I Pay For Tubal Reversal Surgery?

For those couples that have decided to get a tubal reversal the question is how to pay for it. Yes, although it is much less expensive then one round of IVF a few thousand dollars doesn’t just appear for many of us.

Saving money for tubal reversal takes time. And the more time it takes the more frustrated you may become. Whether you are having tubal reversal surgery to have another child or to relieve the symptoms of Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome the wait can be long.

The tubal reversal message board at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center has a lot of wonderful women who post some great ideas. And the prepayment plan has come in a lifesaver because lets face it, if we have the money in our pockets it is much easier to spend it. With the prepayment account the money is tucked away and adding up for the big surgery day.

Other ways to save money for the tubal reversal is to cut back on things we don’t really need. One couple discusses how when they would grocery shop they would not buy as many snacks and take the money that was saved and ship it right to Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center to add to the account. They were actually very amazed ay how fast they amount added up.

Others have saved a large amount in a very short amount of time by picking up a part time job or working overtime. Wanting something this bad sometimes forces one to be able to evaluate and set priorities that normally wouldn’t be done.

Having A Baby After Tubal Reversal Surgery

After going through the tubal reversal procedure, the main goal for many couples is to begin to try to have a child. Conceiving can happen very quickly or it can take more time then some realize.

The journey to pregnancy after tubal reversal surgery is one that is filled with excited, anticipation as well as disappointment in some cases. Disappointment can happen monthly, but the key is to not give up.

Having a baby after tubal reversal surgery is a dream that comes true. After months, or even years of planning for surgery and then the date is finally here it seems like it never moves fast enough. Following surgery here is the trying to conceive and with each new cycle the frustration can grow,

Watching others go through the process and getting pregnancy faster than you can also lead to disappointment. Only when you are about to give up does the magic seem to happen. That long awaited positive pregnancy test happens and you can’t believe your eyes.

Even looking at it over and over you still may think it is a dream. And not even pinching yourself will convince you this is real. But it is and the next step is to make sure the baby is settled in your uterus safely.

This is what having a baby after tubal reversal surgery is like for many. It may not be the easiest of journeys but it sure is worth it in the end.

For more information on tubal reversal surgery or to become involved with others that have taken the journey visit the Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center website.

Tubes Tied and Want Them Reversed

Each year there are many women that feel they are completely done having children and decide to have their tubes tied. This is quite common and for many it is the right choice and they are very comfortable with the choice they have made.

But there are women who after having their tubes tied regret the tubal ligation and want it reversed. Is this possible? And is it very expensive? Yes, you can have your tubal ligation reversed. And the expense of the procedure is less than one round of treatment of the alternative of IVF. This information comes as a surprise not to just women but some in the medical field.

The chance of becoming pregnant after tubal reversal surgery is quite good. The Tubal Reversal Pregnancy Report 2009 conducted by Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center returns hope to many who thought they would never be able to have children again.

Having your tubes tied and wanting them reversed is not a goal that is out of your reach. For more information on tubal reversal surgery the CHTRC has a website that explains the procedure as well as the cost. The message board allows for interaction among patients as well as those researching the procedure. The tubal reversal nurses are available seven days a week for a free phone consultation as well.

When You Become Pregnant After Tubal Reversal Surgery

When you become pregnant after tubal reversal surgery it can be very different from before you had the tubal ligation and tubal reversal. Many times before the tubal ligation all one had to do was look at their partner and they had a positive pregnancy test (ok maybe a little more than look). But after tubal reversal surgery things may take a bit longer.

The surgeons at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center give the okay to begin trying to conceive as soon as the patient feels up to it. And most patients feel up to trying to conceive within a couple of weeks. Yes, there are some that feel fine right after surgery and have actually become pregnant before the trip back home but this is not the majority of patients.

Tubal reversal surgery throws a few curve balls into the trying to conceive game and it’s no wonder after researching, having the surgery and the healing process. For those couples that want to get pregnant right away this can actually become very stressful. The tracking of the cycles and trying to pinpoint ovulation as well as trying to time everything just right not only can cause havoc it can make a woman very compelled to buy every fertility product known to mankind.

When you become pregnant after tubal reversal surgery it is very important to follow early pregnancy protocol. And it is not uncommon at all if you do not want to share the news right away until you are sure the baby is safely snuggles in you uterus. Many couples wait until they are absolutely sure everything is fine before breaking the news.

For more reading on pregnancy after tubal reversal surgery the CHTRC message board is loaded with women who are sharing their experiences. The Early Pregnancy Protocol must be followed for your health as well as a healthy pregnancy.

Tubal Ligation Reversal- What Kinds Of Couples Choose This?

The question is why choose tubal ligation reversal? What kinds of couples choose to go with the tubal ligation reversal procedure and not another way to have a baby such as IVF? The answers are really not that complicated.

For the majority of couples choosing tubal ligation reversal is because it is the most natural way to conceive a child. Each month there is a chance for pregnancy to occur and having multiple children without extra medical intervention is a plus.

IVF is much too expensive for many couples as well as the side effects of the medications needed tend to make many nervous. Only after reading the Tubal Ligation Reversal Pregnancy Report 2009 do a majority of couples discover that the pregnancy rate is better with tubal ligation reversal than with IVF.

Though many of the women are in a new relationship and their new spouses do not have children of their own yet there are other assorted reasons for this decision. Some women just want to feel whole again and are seeking relief from Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome. Others have tragically lost a child.

The kinds of couples that choose tubal ligation reversal are as varied as the reasons. Tubal ligation reversal is a personal decision that couples research at length to get to that final decision.

American Women Having Tubes Tied And Untied

It is reported by MSNBC that more American women are having their tubes tied than anywhere else in the world. Although the pill is still the first choice more women are choosing permanent sterilization.

But what happens to women who have their tubes tied and then regret their decision? Is IVF the way to be able to have a child after tubal ligation? The answer is no. For many IVF is just too expensive and not an option.

Tubal ligation reversal may be the best option for many of these women that now what to have another child. In the Tubal Reversal Pregnancy Report 2009 released by Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center it is quite evident that this procedure is not only less expensive but has a better pregnancy rate.

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center has long been known as the leading tubal reversal center. Couples travel from all over the world to have Dr. Gary Berger or Dr. Charles Monteith perform the outpatient procedure. Why travel so far? These are the best surgeons available to perform this very delicate surgery for the best pregnancy outcome. Choosing Where To Have Tubal Reversal Surgery

Making the choice to have tubal reversal surgery is not always the easiest endeavor that many think. Most people are under the impression that it is as easy as just pick a surgeon and pay the fees and you are good to go. This is not usually the case and many that have jumped through the decision making process have regretted it.

When choosing where to have tubal reversal surgery there are many factors involved. Is the surgery performed as an outpatient procedure? What is the actual experience of the surgeon performing the surgery? What is the cost involved and is it comparable to other surgeon’s fees? And what are the pregnancy statistics for these surgeons’ patients?

There is much research that needs to be put into choosing the right place to have your tubal reversal surgery. Many take years to finally make up their minds and in the end they have a sense of peace about the final decision and know they have made the right choice.

On the tubal reversal surgery message board women will write and explain how they came to the final decision and compare their research techniques to others. It comes at quite a surprise that some would use a message board forum to help in their research but it does make sense to use this tool.

When choosing where to have the surgery it helps to know how many came to this decision as well as how many patients are giving advice and keeping up with the conversation even after surgery. Knowing how patients feel about where they chose to have surgery is certainly one of the best resources possible.

For more information, Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center is the leading tubal reversal center. The tubal reversal nurses can be reached seven days a week and answer any questions you may have.

Tubal Reversal Anxiety and Dealing With Fear

Surgery is not something we normally choose to jump into and be happy about it but tubal reversal is different. For many it is the chance to have a baby after they felt all hope was gone. While for others it is relief from Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome.

For many as the surgery date gets closer tubal reversal anxiety tends to creep up. What if the surgery does not work? This is such a common question for those who are going to have the procedure. While there is no guarantee that pregnancy will take place it has better pregnancy outcomes than the alternative of IVF.

Many times women worry about the actual procedure itself. Then being a patient, the surgery the anesthesia and recovering after the fact. Tubal reversal is not what it was years ago. The leading tubal reversal center, Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center, performs the tubal reversal surgery as an outpatient procedure. Not only is this safer but also less expensive.

When anxiety takes over with impending surgery the best thing a woman can do for herself is to surround herself with others that have gone through it. There may even be other women that live close to you that have had the procedure. If not, then join the tubal reversal message board. Although there may not be face-to-face contact, just knowing that others are going through the same thing will help alleviate some of the fears.

Be sure to ask questions if they have not already been answered. When it comes to your health there is no question too minimal. Find out that the other tubal reversal patients that have gone through the procedure have to say about the experience. When researching, the more information you have the better you will have control over the anxiety level.

For Our Troops

We need to show more sympathy for these people.
* They travel miles in the heat.
* They risk their lives crossing a border.
* They don't get paid enough wages.
* They do jobs that others won't do or are afraid to do.
* They live in crowded conditions among a people who speak a different language.
* They rarely see their families, and they face adversity all day ~ every day.

I'm not talking about illegal Mexicans ~
I'm talking about our troops! Doesn't it seem strange that many Democrats and Republicans are willing to lavish all kinds of social benefits on illegals, but don't support our troops.

Please pass this on; this is worth the short time it takes.

Tubal Reversal and Intuition Taking Over

Courtesy of Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center

As I sat reading the message board I landed on one of the most interesting tubal reversal surgery discussions I have read yet. That “gut” feeling of knowing when you have just conceived.

One of the most amazing things is just how many women “know” that they have just conceived. Is it a feeling? Is it their minds telling them this? This is no logical answer and many some it up to intuition. And this intuition happens to many more women than you may think.

But what happens after tubal reversal surgery and you desperately want to conceive that baby you have waited so long for? Because you are trying to conceive and working so hard at it and stressing out will the feeling still be there to let you know? This is a question many are asking on the tubal reversal message board.

It is no secret that Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center has the best surgeons and staff when it comes to tubal reversal. The Tubal Reversal Pregnancy Report 2009 and reading the Patient Satisfaction Reports as well as the Tubal Reversal Press Releases more than tell us the great success rates that are taking place. But, when does someone rely on their intuition and not second-guess herself? For many we will never know the answer.

It is amazing how the human body works even in the tubal reversal journey.
