All too many times after tubal reversal many women expect to get pregnant right away. The trying to conceive is supposed to be fun right? But, what happens when the positive pregnancy test does not come about right away?
When the tubal reversal surgery is over many feel that the hard part is over and done with. You are pretty well healed from the surgery except for the occasional pulling or twinge. Now the easy part of getting pregnant. Oh wait, this isn't;t working as planned. And many times the feeling is this never took this long when I was younger.
The truth is that it may take longer trying to conceive after tubal reversal for some. And it may lead to frustration and disappointment to many. This is a discussion on the tubal reversal message board on the Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center website.
For many the month to month job of trying to conceive can become draining. The temping along with trying to time everything just right for when that egg releases only to get a negative pregnancy test is enough to make may throw their arms up in defeat.
The main thing to remember is to relax and let nature take its course. The stress and worry are not going to help. Although this may not help much there are many in your shoes and support is available from those going through the same thing.
