Outpatient Tubal Ligation Reversal Surgery

I cannot think of anyone that I personally know that has said he or she likes going to the hospital. And the same holds true for women who are looking to have tubal ligation reversal surgery. The wonderful thing is that this procedure can be performed as an outpatient procedure and not only is it less expensive it is safer.

Outpatient tubal ligation reversal surgery is considered safer as opposed to being performed in the hospital. The first question that is heard many times is how can this be? How can it be safer than in the hospital where they have physicians and all the medical equipment needed?

First, when you are having top-notch surgeons perform your outpatient tubal ligation reversal surgery they have an emergency plan in place. If something was to go wrong they have an emergency plan set up with the local hospital and being the best at what they do they are very well known and respected by their colleagues.

Next, another important safety factor to consider is the following. When you walk into the hospital for a procedure what do all the other people that are around you have? What do the people that were there right before you have? The answer is clear that is part of the unknown.

Hospital acquired infections run rampant and there are people that work very hard cleaning and killing the infections but it still happens. With having the outpatient tubal ligation reversal surgery all the people are there for the same thing.

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center has long been known as the tubal reversal center of choice. Couples travel from all over the world to have their surgery performed here and many, many babies were welcomed to the world after the procedure.

I have posted a “Virtual Tour of Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center” with this post. If you are researching outpatient tubal reversal the CHTRC website has over 40 tubal reversal videos available for viewing.

Tubal Ligation Reversal-Pregnancy After 40

Okay, so a “younger” crowd would look at this title and probably think we are crazy. But the truth of the matter is more and more women are waiting until they reach a later age to have children. And tubal ligation reversal patients are really no different.

Many times when a women after the age of forty informs people she is having tubal ligation reversal surgery they look at her like she is nuts. No, she has just decided that she wants a child or two after having her tubes tied.

Women decide on tubal ligation reversal surgery for different reasons and it is a very personal decision and should not be taken lightly.

The tubal ligation reversal patients on the  Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center message board pretty much sum it up. Yes, they realize it may take them longer to conceive. And yes, they know how old they are (even when people think they are crazy for wanting to start all over).

And these tubal ligation reversal patients also have the wisdom to look to the future and to be ready because it may not be the easiest road traveled but they are still willing to give it that shot because if they didn’t they would never know what could have happened if they didn’t go through with the surgery. All in all there is much credit to be given to these couples and the fact of the matter is many become pregnant surprisingly quick.

Best Chances Of Getting Pregnant: Tubal Reversal or IVF?

Although there are many women who choose to have a tubal ligation about half of them will regret their decision sometime. What if they decide they want more children? What are the options? And how expense will this be?

Many ask what the best chances are at getting pregnant? Is the answer tubal reversal or IVF? Although there is a very personal decision to made there are major differences.

For those who have researched IVF it is clear that it is very expensive. One round of the treatment can cost up to $10,000 in the United States. And what if the first round doesn’t work?  Unfortunately for many it doesn’t and many times the desire to have a baby can over run the expenses. Many have put themselves so far in debt they have almost or have actually lost their homes.

Then what is are the best chances of getting pregnant? For many the answer is tubal reversal. Not only is tubal reversal less expensive it is more natural.

In a recent study with data collected from over 5000 tubal reversal patients at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center, it is proven that tubal reversal has better pregnancy statistics.

By taking a look at the study that has been published it is quite clear that tubal reversal is the leader in successful pregnancy results.

For those who are interested in having children after a tubal ligation the answer is to do your research. The CHTRC website has a vast amount of information available including but not limited to over 40 tubal reversal videos, a very active message board as well as a blog.

If you have questions the staff is available to answer your questions seven days a week. The chances of getting pregnant after tubal ligation reversal are numerous considering there is a new chance each month!

Why Tubal Ligation Reversal Surgery?

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center

Dr. Gary Berger: "Again, people will ask why I do this. And why do I do this type of surgery? And I think I like the idea of being able to help people. And help families have children. This is so highly effective and I have been studying this for many years and we have followed up on many thousands of people. I know that I have done the most surgeries of any doctor of this type in the world and with all of this experience and the follow up and to document all that has happened it keeps me very highly motivated to keep working because it is so effective. And again, it’s a little hard to try to explain. If you ask someone, why are you having children? They might find it a little hard to actually explain it because I think it has to do with emotions, concerns and issues that you can’t always necessarily put into words. But we know how meaningful it is or how important it is. So, all of these things make me feel like we are doing here is really truly special and unique and I think if you go around and talk to the rest of the people on the staff you will probably get a very similar outlook. It is very proud, upbeat and what we are doing is really helping people and that is what we are here for."
