What Is Tubal Ligation Reversal?

The question of “What is Tubal Ligation Reversal?” comes up in conversation when a woman is letting friends know about the upcoming surgery or that she wants more children. Many times women do not know the term “tubal ligation” they know it as “tubes tied” which is more commonly known.

For many women who have chosen to have a tubal ligation reversal the decision to tell others can be a tough one. For many, their children are older and they have desired another child for a while and the final decision has been made to go through the tubal ligation reversal surgery. But, sometimes when the woman chooses to tell others she may not get the response she expected. Many times she is given responses that are not nice at all such as, “Are you crazy, why would anyone start over?” Making the decision to tell others can be a tough one but the main point is to remember that you and your spouse make the decision and you two are the ones dealing with it.

There are tubal ligation reversal message boards all over the Internet and one of the best ones that is very active is the one located on Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center’s website. There are many women that have been through this and have discussed it with each other for the support that is sometimes needed.

When explaining that you are having a tubal ligation reversal just explain that you and your spouse have decided that you want another child and a lot of thought has gone into it. Though comments are welcomed, personal opinions may not always be what you expect. Sometimes even loved ones can say things that they do not mean without thinking about it first.

Another thing that many women who are having tubal ligation reversal so is keep it quiet until they get the positive pregnancy test and follow the Early Pregnancy Protocol and know the baby is snug in the uterus. Only then do they tell everyone that they have had a tubal ligation reversal.

Support After Tubal Ligation Reversal

After tubal ligation reversal many women and couples wonder if the surgeons who performed their surgery will stay in contact with them. Many times all too many couples find out after the fact that the surgeon who performed the tubal ligation reversal surgery is pretty much all finished his job as soon as you leave the office.

Although this would be considered very important to most women after surgery not all think to investigate when doing the research for the actual surgery. Many tubal ligation reversal patients will want to know such things as what are the pregnancy rates, how long it takes to heal after the surgery. But many times women do not think to ask if the surgeon will follow them to see if the patient becomes pregnant and if they do are they asked to contact the surgeon.

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center is the leading tubal ligation reversal center in the United States. It is a very well known fact that women and couples travel from all over the world to have Dr. Berger or Dr. Monteith perform the surgery. Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center Patients Speak Up!

On the Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center website there is a message board. Lo and behold someone who is searching for the right tubal reversal surgeon for them asked the patients what brought them to choose Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center.

For many it was the credentials of the tubal reversal surgeons. Having over 30 years in the field, Dr. Gary Berger was an early pioneer in the field of tubal reversal microsurgery. He has developed the one-hour outpatient procedure that is not only safer for the patients but results in less discomfort. Dr. Monteith, who is also an expert in the field joins Dr. Berger and has many extremely happy tubal reversal patients whose babies proudly wear the “Monteith Miracle” onesies.

For others it was the fact that when they called the Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center nurses they were treated with respect, compassion and a friendly tone. Many times the nurses or receptionists are the first ones a woman comes in contact with and this can certainly set the mood. All too many times women will call tubal reversal surgeons office and be treated like they are actually asking a stupid question or taking up someone else’s valuable time. Not the best ways to have a patient have trust and be at ease with you. Many surgeons do not consider the fact that this type of staff also reflects on them.

Some of the tubal reversal women commented on how friendly and supportive the message board was. Going through tubal reversal though uplifting in many ways and getting that second chance can also get stressful at times. Trying to conceive and getting that negative pregnancy test is not always easy to accept.

Having a website that is full of information and a staff that is friendly and honest seems to be right up there with the gut feeling that the tubal reversal patients get knowing that Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center was the right choice for them.

As more and more of the tubal reversal patients speak up more and more information is being posted for women and couples who are researching tubal reversal surgery in order to have that second chance at having a child in their lives.

Tubal Reversal Surgery-Can Be Performed With Little Pain

For women who have made the choice to have tubal ligation reversal surgery the question is usually, “How much pain will I be in after it is done?” Well, that depends on the surgeon and the team that you choose to perform the surgery.

Many tubal reversal surgeons still perform the tubal reversal surgery in a hospital setting. There are a few that perform it as an outpatient procedure. Many women who are going for surgery already have a family and many have little ones still in the house so knowing the pain factor is a huge question.

The surgeons at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center consider patient comfort and safety to be the number one priority. Many times the tubal reversal patients have menstrual like cramps after the surgery. A week or two later they may have a “slight pulling” on one side or the other of the incision. The main thing to remember is that all people heal differently.

The main object when it comes to tubal reversal surgery according to Dr. Gary Berger is asking the question: “What is the most gentle and least intrusive way to perform the tubal reversal surgery?” He and Dr. Charles Monteith strive to give the best patient comfort both during and after the surgery.

For those who are searching for a tubal reversal surgeon both Dr. Berger and Dr. Monteith are accepting patients with the added bonus of a reduced fee through Feb. 28,2010. The tubal reversal nurses can be reached seven days a week by calling (919) 968-4656.

The Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center website now has over 40 tubal reversal videos as well as a very informative and friendly message board.

When researching tubal ligation reversal one of the most common things I see women write are that they are having the tubal ligation reversal in order to give their husband a child. Tubal Reversal: A Natural Way To Conceive

For women who have had a tubal and now are looking into a more natural way to conceive rather than IVF the answer is tubal reversal. Tubal reversal gives a couple the chance to conceive every month. After having the first tubal reversal baby the couple can go on to have subsequent children without intervention as needed with IVF.

For those who have been researching tubal reversal and IVF it is no secret the major difference in cost between the two. IVF can cost as much as $10,000.00 per round. Whereas tubal reversal surgery is about $6000.00 a much less costly way to have your fertility back.

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center has been long known as the best tubal reversal center in the world. Couples travel from all over the world to have either Dr. Gary Berger or Dr. Charles Monteith perform the outpatient, lost cost tubal reversal procedure.

The tubal reversal surgery takes about an hour and patients are returning to the hotel within a couple of hours. The following day the tubal reversal nurses will go to the room you are staying in and perform the post op check and then you are free to return home.

Many tubal reversal women as when it is okay to begin trying to conceive. The answer is as soon as you feel up to it. The majority of tubal reversal patients are pretty much back to normal within a week or two. For some tubal reversal patients the shock of finding out they are actually pregnant within a few weeks of surgery is quite evident on the tubal reversal message board.

The tubal reversal videos have answered many questions for those who are trying to decide between tubal reversal and IVF. After watching these it is quite clear why many have chosen tubal reversal to conceive children naturally.

Warning: Tubal Ligation Can Cause Problems

If you are one of the many women that have had a tubal ligation and are now having problems then you are not alone.

Many women are now seeking out tubal ligation reversal due to the many symptoms they are suffering after having a tubal ligation. Some of the symptoms that sufferers are experiencing are:

  • Mood Swings
  • Insomnia
  • Night Sweats
  • Decreased Libido
  • Anxiety
  • Feeling Overwhelmed
  • Feelings Of Guilt
  • Exhaustion
  • Heavy Bleeding And Cramping During Menses

These are just some of the symptoms that many women are experiencing and there is a name for this. It is called Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome. Many times women will go to their physician and they will be told that this does not happen and Post Tubal Ligation does not exist.

Do you suffer from Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome? If you do we would love to hear your story!

In the next article we will be discussing how the tubal reversal patients at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center are finding relief through tubal ligation reversal surgery and getting their lives back.

Tubal Reversal And Miscarriage

Many times after a women has a tubal reversal and begins to try to conceive she will have a miscarriage. Having a miscarriage is heartbreaking enough but after having a tubal reversal it can be like having the extra kick.

What many do not realize is that the miscarriage is not related to the tubal reversal. When trying to conceive after tubal reversal women pay much closer attention to their bodies and cycles. Before tubal reversal if the menstrual cycle was a bit late it probably wasn’t noticed or just brushed off.

But after tubal reversal we tend to notice every little twinge and if we are tracking ovulation through OPK or BBT then we know exactly the date we are supposed to start our periods. Many times tubal reversal women are using the EPT before the menstrual period is due because they feel different.

More women that you realize have miscarriages it is said that many women have miscarriages and do not even realize it. Though tubal reversal women have to be very careful of ectopic pregnancy the rate of miscarriage does not increase.

The tubal reversal message board has a discussion on miscarriage after tubal reversal that is very informative. The main thing is if you have had tubal reversal surgery and have had a miscarriage you are not alone. There are many women going through the same thing.

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center is the leading center for tubal ligation reversal surgery. They are dedicated solely to tubal reversal and the repair of blocked fallopian tubes.

Tubal Surgery-Only Time Will Tell

For many the choice to have tubal surgery did not come easy. Trying to decide between having tubal surgery and IVF is a big decision and if you want a baby in the end it is a huge task.

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center is such a center that believes in Informed Decision. This is giving the patient the information and letting them decide what is best for them. They are not told that tubal surgery will get them a baby in the end because no human can guarantee that. But, if a surgeon tells a woman that she is getting too old and all the tests come back looking great why shouldn’t she be able to make the choice herself?

Informing about how tubal surgery works and giving actual pregnancy statistics is something that Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center takes very seriously. Dr. Berger and Dr. Monteith are not going to “candy coat” anything and make promises that they cannot stand behind.

Most of us want to be told the truth and there are still surgeons out there that care for the patient and not just trying to make money. To be told that your chances of havng a baby after tubal surgery are good rather than you will definitely have a baby and then not having a child is more realistic.

As there are no guarantees with tubal surgery the best thing a woman can do is to choose a tubal reversal surgeon that specializes in just this type of surgery and know that they are doing their best to help your dreams come true.

Tubal Ligation Reversal In America

Each year there are many women researching tubal ligation reversal. With the use of the Internet it has become much easier to research things and tubal ligation reversal surgery is no different.

When researching tubal ligation reversal what is the main thing a couple or woman looks for? Most times it is the price of the procedure itself. Many women who are researching tubal reversal have already researched IVF and the price of just one treatment of IVF can be quite shocking. There are many that have almost lost their homes and such trying to pay for the IVF treatments.

One of the ideas that many women and couples seem to think is that tubal ligation reversal is less expensive in other countries other than in America. A word of warning-it just may cost you more than you could imagine. It could cost you the fertility that you are trying to get back.

When comparing prices many do not take in the fact of travel, hospital stay and the cost if something does go wrong. Have any of the tubal reversal surgeons that are outside of America published successful tubal ligation reversal pregnancy statistics?

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center offers low cost, outpatient tubal reversal surgery right here in America. Many times they have discounts for certain times of the year as well as a savings plan that can be added to while saving for the surgery. The ideal thing with the tubal reversal savings plan is that once it is started as little as ten dollars a week can be added.

For those searching for tubal reversal surgery here in America Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center has an extensive website which includes over 40 tubal ligation reversal videos as well as a message board for those who would like to ask other tubal reversal patients questions or to form a friendship for support.

Tubal Reversal Surgery And Getting Pregnant After

Many times after a woman has had tubal reversal surgery there is a small fear that she will not be able to conceive. This is natural and a majority of women do go through this. One of the best things to do even before going through tubal reversal surgery is to know your cycles. Many women know about the time they ovulate but not the exact time in their cycles.

By learning your cycle before tubal reversal surgery you will better know your body. Do not be alarmed if it takes a couple of months for your cycles to return to normal after surgery. Any woman going through tubal reversal surgery needs to keep in mind that this is still surgery and it will take time for your body to return to normal.

By knowing when you ovulate beforehand it is easier to notice the different signs after surgery. Many times there is a pain either on the left or right side right before or during ovulation. Another great thing women do is to begin using the Ovulation Predictor Kits before tubal reversal surgery.

The Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center message board is full of tubal reversal patients who wish they had learned their cycle before tubal reversal surgery. Another great point is not to be disappointed if you do not conceive right away. The average woman only has a 20-25% chance of conceiving each month. A tubal reversal patient that goes by the name of “HeWants2BeADaddy” shared this information with the other tubal reversal women.

For those seeking more information on conceiving after tubal reversal surgery the Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center website has videos and a tubal reversal blog for viewing and reading.

Tubes Reversed And It’s Working!

This is a common saying among the tubes reversed message board at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center. It seems as though many women are writing about the anticipation of having their tubes reversed and next thing you know they are pregnant.

Dr. Gary Berger and Dr. Charles Monteith have been perfecting the outpatient, low cost procedure so well that they are now performing Adiana and Essure Reversals. The calls about having their tubes reversed so that women who have had these procedures done can have it reversed to have children again.

For those who are still searching having their tubes reversed or IVF the CHTRC website has an abundance of information to offer that is easy to read. Many times women will go to other websites and find either the information is too technical or that the website is too busy “bashing” other physicians. CHTRC is the only tubes reversed center that can offer actual pregnancy statistics and not pull figures out of the sky.

Wanting Tubal Reversal Surgery

For those women that want more children after a tubal ligation the big question is are the tubes repairable. When looking into tubal reversal surgery many women do know that their tubes have been “tied” but do not know the exact procedure that has been used.

One of the fears of women looking into tubal reversal surgery is that they will get into the surgery and find out that the fallopian tubes are too damaged to be repaired.

If this is one of the fears that you face when wanting tubal reversal surgery be sure to search out the experts in the field. Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center is the leader in the field of tubal reversal the world over.

Dr. Gary Berger has been in the field for over three decades and is joined by Dr. Charles Monteith. Dr. Berger helped in pioneering the outpatient, low cost tubal reversal procedure that he uses today.

There is a blog, tubal reversal message board which is great for support as well as the tubal reversal nurses that are available to answer questions 7 days a week at (919) 968-4656. They will be more than happy to fill you in on information that you are searching for.

The Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal website also has a great page named “Getting Started” that will tell you how to get your tubal ligation operative report or if you cannot get that how the surgeons will be able to tell if you are a good candidate for tubal reversal surgery.

Tubal Ligation Reversal-How Long Until I am Pregnant??

For most women researching tubal ligation reversal there is the number one question. How long does it take to get pregnant after tubal ligation reversal? There is no specific answer or time frame.

The tubal ligation reversal message board on the Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center website is full of women asking the same question. But there is no guarantee how long conceiving a baby can take.

Many times after tubal ligation reversal it can take a few weeks or even a couple of months for you cycles to get back to normal. Many times there are tubal ligation reversal patients that fear it may take long because they have short fallopian tubes and many times this is not the case at all.

In the Pregnancy Report 2009 it is proven that tubal ligation reversal has a better pregnant outcome than the alternative of IVF. Not only is the pregnancy rate better but also the cost is much less. The great thing after tubal ligation reversal is that you do not have to have just one child. You can go on to have more without extra treatments or added costs.

Essure Problems Continue

For the women that have had the Essure and are having problems you are far from alone. So many women are having issues it is getting scary. I have personally spoken to two women in the last few days that want the coils removed.

The sad thing is that these women are being told that they cannot be removed. But they can! Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center has been removing them is great healing time for the Essure Reversal patient. Why do the physicians say that Essure can’t be removed? Could it be they just do not know enough about the product itself? Makes one wonder.

For those women who are contemplating getting the Essure coils put in the fallopian tubes, be sure to do your research. The more time has gone on the more women that are having a problem with this.

Ask the physicians what they do if something goes wrong. Ask what happens if the coils cause pain or if they dislodge from the fallopian tubes.

For those women who have the Essure coils and want them removed it is possible to have this done as a low-cost outpatient procedure. Be sure to check out the Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center website. The blog has information and the message board has women that have had the Essure Reversal procedure and can help answer any questions you may have.

The nurses are available for a free phone consultation if you have questions that you need answered. If you know someone that has Essure and wants the coils removed, please pass this along. No woman should have to be in pain when there is an answer to the problem.

Reversing Tubal Ligation

Each year many women have a tubal ligation. But then after it is done they are saddened by the fact that they are not able to have children. Many times the woman did not want the tubal ligation to begin with and are now searching for a way to have it reversed or undone.

Reversing tubal ligation is something that can be done. Many times physicians will tell you that this is not an option and you may have to use IVF in order to have another child. This is because many physicians are not trained in reversing tubal ligations or do not believe it can be successfully performed.

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center specializes in reversing tubal ligations and the repair of fallopian tubes. Does reversing tubal ligations work so that a woman can get pregnant? The answer is in the Pregnancy Report 2009 located on the CHTRC website. Not only does reversing tubal ligations work for pregnancy, it has a better pregnancy rate than the alternative treatment of IVF.

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center has a great website as well as nurses that are available to answer any questions you may have on reversing tubal ligation. Tubal Reversal Surgery And Beginning Again

Many times women seek out tubal reversal surgery because they are beginning a new phase in life so to speak. Maybe a new relationship is the reason. They are newly married and the new spouse has no children yet and this is one of the greatest gifts.

Tubal reversal surgery is a new beginning and an exciting one at that. The search begins with trying to fond the right tubal reversal surgeon. The next thing is dealing with the cost of tubal reversal surgery. Many women are so determined they will take an extra part time job or go without the extras to get the money saved that much faster.

The surgery date is finally set and tubal reversal surgery day is right around the corner. The message board at the Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center website is full of women who have finally scheduled their surgery and are counting down the days. They are full of hope for the new beginning in their lives.

On the tubal reversal blog there are stories of how great friendships are and were formed and how they are now going through the “trying to conceive” journey together.

Then the big day is finally here and a tubal reversal patient gets that positive pregnancy test she has been waiting for. There is nothing quite as exciting as seeing those lines on the EPT and reality finally hitting that the tubal reversal has worked.

Then there is the birth of the long awaited child and the beginning of a family starting over.

The tubal reversal message board has and is being a great source of support for women and couples who are either researching or about to or have been through tubal reversal surgery.

Trying To Conceive

Although this sounds super easy is may not always be the case. Many times we think I will do this and then this and then I will be ready to have a baby. Sometimes trying to conceive is what we expected.

We go month to month doing the “Baby Dance” (which will be just bd from here on in. We wait until we are due for our period and oh if it’s late out come the pregnancy tests. We test, it is negative yet again, if we only had a dollar for every time we tested I think we would be rich. This can go on for months on end and we try not to give up hope in this trying to conceive phase in our lives.

The hardest part for many women is the fact that we always seem to run into a million women who are pregnant or have just had a baby. How long were they trying to conceive? Why does it take me so long to get pregnant? The amazing thing is that it seems like women who don’t try are the ones who get pregnant.

Tubal reversal patients are going the same try to conceive mode. They have had their tubal reversals and now they are going month by month just waiting. Sometimes it happens within months other times it may take a year or longer. The tubal reversal message board is full of women in the same “try to conceive” boat.

How do you try to keep your mind off of this? Is it possible? Suggestions welcome!

Tubal Ligation Reversal And Knowing Ovulation

For those who have undergone tubal ligation reversal to have more children after a tubal ligation knowing when you ovulate is very important. Many women are eager to begin to try to conceive and get that positive pregnancy test.

After tubal ligation reversal it takes time for your body to return to normal. It may take a few months for your system to get back to a regular pattern. This was surgery and your body needs time to heal. For those who have been suffering from Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome this is certainly going to be different with those PTLS symptoms finally beginning to go away.

For those who are looking into tubal ligation reversal surgery now is the time to start figuring out when you ovulate. Many patients on the tubal ligation reversal message board have stated that they wish they had done this. It would have saved them confuson and time.

The tubal ligation reversal experts at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center recommend the following ways to know when you are about to ovulate.

  • Use Ovulation Predictor Kits-these kits are very helpful for those who have irregular cycles or their cycles are returning to normal after tubal ligation reversal surgery. These come in different brands and are available at any drugstore usually near the pregnancy tests.
  • Basil Body Temperature-this is a technique in which the body temperature is taken upon rising first thing every morning and then put on a chart. By following the temperature rise and falls a woman is able to tell impending ovulation and when ovulation has occurred. There are websites that are available to help with this a great one is FertilityFriend.com. This is a little harder for some to learn but after a few months you will begin to recognize your body’s rhythm.

After a few months of using these two ways of figuring out when you ovulate you will begin to notice body signs even before you use the OPK. Many times women will have slight pain on one side right before ovulation. Others will have a slight pulling feeling and maybe some mild cramping.

Tubal ligation reversal patients need to remember that it will take time for your body to heal. Once this is complete you are well on your way to that positive pregnancy test.

Why Tubal Ligation Reversal Surgery?

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center

Dr. Gary Berger: "Again, people will ask why I do this. And why do I do this type of surgery? And I think I like the idea of being able to help people. And help families have children. This is so highly effective and I have been studying this for many years and we have followed up on many thousands of people. I know that I have done the most surgeries of any doctor of this type in the world and with all of this experience and the follow up and to document all that has happened it keeps me very highly motivated to keep working because it is so effective. And again, it’s a little hard to try to explain. If you ask someone, why are you having children? They might find it a little hard to actually explain it because I think it has to do with emotions, concerns and issues that you can’t always necessarily put into words. But we know how meaningful it is or how important it is. So, all of these things make me feel like we are doing here is really truly special and unique and I think if you go around and talk to the rest of the people on the staff you will probably get a very similar outlook. It is very proud, upbeat and what we are doing is really helping people and that is what we are here for."

H1N1 Vaccine, Tubal Reversal And Pregnancy

It has been all over the media about the H1N1 virus hitting pregnant women and children. These seem to be the two categories where this flu is hitting. Will you be getting vaccinated? Will you be getting your children vaccinated?

Concern is up everywhere if you are getting vaccinated the concern is will the vaccine be here in time before we actually all get the flu? If you are not sure if you will be getting yourself or your children vaccinated you are wondering what the side effects are.

The surgeons at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center have advised that all of their tubal reversal patients get vaccinated if they are pregnant or trying to conceive in order to protect both the mother and the developing baby. The website has a recent blog post on the tubal reversal blog about the H1N1 virus that all pregnant and those trying to conceive will find very informative. The message board is full of women who are concerned about the same issues.

There are many concerns with the H1N1 virus and it doesn’t end there. Many have concerns with the H1N1 vaccine. What are your concerns and will you be getting the virus?

Tubal Reversal Videos For Viewing

Many times when we are searching for information on tubal reversal surgery the information can become overwhelming. Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center now has over 40 tubal reversal videos available for viewing on the website as well as YouTube.com.

In these videos a virtual tour of the center is included. The surgeons and staff explain why they are so dedicated to what they do. Tubal reversal patients have also dedicated their time to help others in the journey.

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center is the only center solely dedicated to tubal reversal and the repair of fallopian tubes. Many times tubal reversal patients are those that have already undergone the alternative treatment of IVF with no success. They are surprised to find out they have become pregnant so soon and are asking how to receive the “Berger Baby” or “Monteith Miracle” baby t-shirts before their new arrival is born.

Essure And Adiana Reversal With Tubal Surgery

As human beings we all do things and then wonder why we did it. For many of us it’s because we were in a bad situation or just didn’t think that life would change the way it does (and it does).

The same goes for women who have a permanent form of contraception and then change their minds and want it reversed or removed. It could be that they are in a different relationship; the tragic lose of a child or other event.

Adiana and Essure are relatively new forms of female contraception. They basically do the same thing. The procedure consists of inserting something into the narrowest area of the fallopian tube and then scar tissue forms around it thus causing scar tissue. After three months of scar tissue forming a test called the HSG is performed to make sure the tubes are blocked completely.

But for some after the tubes are blocked they want a child and do not want to have to go through IVF treatments. This is where Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center comes in. Dr. Gary Berger and Dr. Charles Monteith have successfully performed both the Essure and Adiana Reversals.

With the Essure Reversal the metal coils are completely removed from the fallopian tubes and uterus, as this is the safest method according to Dr. Gary Berger. This is done because he and Dr. Monteith do not want to take the chance of the coils causing any harm to any subsequent pregnancies. Many times when the alternative treatment of IVF is used the coils are left in and at this point in time it is unsure the harmful effects it could have on the developing pregnancy.

With the Adiana Reversal the scar tissue is removed and the healthy part of the fallopian tubes are then reattached to the back of the uterus so that pregnancy can follow. The wonderful thing about both the Essure and Adiana Reversals is that there is a good amount of healthy fallopian tube remaining and this is a big factor in pregnancy success.

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center has a website with a lot of information on both of these reversals. Many times women are unsure of where to begin on the search and this website holds a vast amount of reading and information to be better informed.

Tubal Reversal Surgery-The Other Option

Many times a woman will have had a tubal ligation or the Essure or Adiana procedure and decide to have another child. Is IVF the only answer? Is it true to have the Essure reversed that you will need a hysterectomy? No, this is not true thanks to tubal reversal surgery.

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center has long been the only center dedicated to tubal reversal surgery and fallopian tube repair. Women travel from all over the world to be able to have the chance to have children again naturally. Women And Guilt

For many of us guilt is in our lives everyday. Guilt is something that for some reason will follow us and we can’t shake it. Guilt over having a tubal ligation is something that I hear more and more women speak of. The great news is that there is tubal reversal surgery. But, why the guilt in the first place did we do this to ourselves?

Many times we are coerced into having a tubal ligation. Relatives, friends and many times strangers will make the comments that we really don’t need to hear. Have enough kids yet? Are you getting your tubes tied? How would you afford another one? And the list goes on!

We have our tubes ties and we want more children. We know this all along and as soon as the procedure is complete we are thinking tubal reversal. We know in our hearts and souls that it was meant to be that we have another child.

Well, the great news is that right here in the United States we have the leading tubal reversal surgeon in the world. Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center is the leading center in tubal reversal surgery. Dr. Gary Berger pioneered the one-hour, low-cost outpatient tubal reversal surgery that has the ultimate success rates in pregnancy successes.

Of course we should feel guilty that we are given the second chance to have a child. But, isn’t it something that we are actually making right now? We knew from the time of the tubal ligation it wasn’t right. Guilt is not something that should be associated with fixing a mistake..ever.

I Want A Baby!

I want a baby is something that many women who have had a tubal ligation say after the procedure is done. It is not unusual to hear nor should women who have had a previous tubal ligation feel alone. There is hope with tubal surgery or tubal ligation reversal.

Many women who leave a troubled relationship and get remarried feel this way. Many times the new husband does not have any children of his own and would like to begin expanding the family.

Tubal surgery has proven to have better pregnancy success rates than IVF. Not only is the success rate better, it is less expensive. This is not even bringing in the fact that it is much more natural.

Tubal surgery at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center with Dr. Gary Berger and Dr. Charles Monteith is a low cost, outpatient procedure. Dr. Berger pioneered this in 1982 and has had excellent results. This type of procedure results in less pain and better safety for the patient.

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center has a message board where many women and couples go to ask other patients questions and give answers. The staff (including Dr. Berger and Dr. Monteith) interact with the patients here also.

Wanting a baby after a tubal ligation is not out of the norm. As a matter of fact it is quite common. Tubal surgery nurses are available to answer any questions you may have. If you do not want to ask a question right away many times the answer can be found right on the website.

Tubal Surgery Less Costly Than IVF

Many women who have had a tubal ligation regret it the minute it is done. For others they didn’t want to sign the paper to have it done to begin with and after it was done lost hope. For those that have decided they want more children due to a changing life circumstances they face being told the only way this can happen is with IVF. This is not always the case. Tubal surgery has been proven to have better pregnancy outcomes than IVF.

Not only is tubal surgery a more natural way to have a child after a tubal ligation it is also less expensive. Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center has proven this again and again. There is also the chance to conceive every month without the disadvantages of more treatments and spending more money.

In the video above Erika Pamplin, Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center Business Office Manager, explains the cost of tubal surgery as well as the prepayment option. Many women on the message board discuss which option they used and how they went about it. There are great ideas that many women would not have thought of.Tubal surgery nurses are always available to answer questions you may have. And for those searching for Essure removal, be sure to check out the blog.

Wanting Tubal Surgery

When you hear someone is going in for any type of surgery the first thing we often think is that there is something wrong. When someone hears someone say they cannot wait for tubal surgery and they are so excited some may wonder what is up.

There actually are women from all over the world that cannot wait for tubal surgery. They plan for month’s sometimes even years. The thought of any type of surgery is not always a good one for any of us weak hearted. But, these women want the surgery to be able to have children.

The message board at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center’s website is full of women from all over the world and all walks of life. They are anticipating tubal surgery to have a tubal ligation reversed, Essure removed or fallopian tubes repaired. And they cannot wait until their day finally comes to “cross over” to the other side. This has to be one of the most active message boards I have seen in a long time considering it is pretty much all on tubal surgery and getting pregnant.

Dr. Berger and Dr. Monteith are the best tubal surgery surgeons out there. Many gynecologists from the United States refer their patients to the center because of the great pregnancy statistics.

Tubal surgery is also performed to remove Essure. Physicians are telling many women who have changed their minds that the only way to remove Essure is by getting a hysterectomy. This is not true at all. On the blog is a great story from a patient named Jen. Reading about her courage and not giving up not only has become an inspiration to other women but also is getting the word out that Essure CAN be removed.

Tubal Reversal Surgery And Short Tubes

For anyone that has had tubal reversal surgery or is looking into it one of the main things women worry about is coming out of surgery with short tubes. Of course reading information on having short tubes and getting pregnant is enough to scare the bravest of women.

But, to the delight of many tubal reversal patients, having short tubes is not stopping them from becoming pregnant. As a matter of fact reading on the message board at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center just the opposite is true. Many of the women with short tubes are going on to have baby’s number two and three.

This comes as a great relief to those who have spent numerous hours researching tubal reversal surgery and then opting to go through with the surgery. Dr. Berger is the number one tubal reversal specialist and he proved this is in the recent release of the largest tubal reversal pregnancy study ever completed. Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center has fallopian tubes repair rate of 98%. I don’t think you are going to get much better statistics than these.

The website is extensive but also very user friendly. There is nothing more daunting than going to a medical site and having to feel like you have to be the surgeon yourself to understand what has been written. The blog is packed full of information and the message board is full of wonderful women who have had the tubal reversal surgery or are about to. There is always a new conversation to jump into.

Tubal Ligation Reversal In The United States

For those who have been researching tubal ligation reversal surgery here in the United States you may have noticed that more and more tubal ligation reversal centers from overseas have been popping up. There are a few questions that pop up when one sees this on an Internet search. Why would anyone from the United States travel so far for tubal ligation reversal when we have some of the best surgeons here in the U.S.? As a matter of fact, we have the leading tubal ligation reversal specialist known all the world right here in North Carolina. Is it the cost? Some say it is but after the travel expense it really does not work out that way.

If these tubal ligation reversal centers from so far away are so good than why are they using clips of tubal ligation reversal surgery from surgeons here in the United States and saying they are theirs? If a company does this than what is guaranteeing patient safety and successful pregnancy rates? There have been multiple sites that Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Centers have been popping up with Dr. Berger explaining tubal ligation reversal and it has been under tubal ligation reversal physicians nowhere close to North Carolina where Dr. Berger and Chapel Hill Tubal Ligation Reversal Center are located.

The main reason this is written is as a word of caution. We have great physicians right here at home and tubal ligation reversal surgery is not only a very personal decision but also a very delicate procedure. Be careful and do your research. Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center nurses are more than happy to discuss questions you may have and of course the website has videos and an excellent message board to interact with other tubal ligation reversal patients.

Dr. Berger has just published the results for the newest and largest tubal ligation reversal pregnancy study ever conducted.

Essure Is Reversible With Tubal Surgery

For the many women who have had the Essure procedure and want it reversed there is great news. Essure reversal is being performed at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center and it is a success using tubal surgery techniques.

Jen, a recent patient who underwent tubal surgery for Essure reversal, shares her story on the Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Centers blog. Jen called local doctors inquiring about Essure removal and was told it was not reversible and even heard that in order to have the Essure coils removed she would have to have a hysterectomy.

A true story of not giving up hope she searched the Internet and found Dr. Gary Berger of Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center. Not only did he say he could remove Essure through tubal surgery but he personally answered Jen’s emails. During this time Jen joined the message board and asked questions and received answers from previous tubal surgery patients as well as the staff.

As with any type of surgery Jen was nervous and excited at being given the second chance to have a child. Her surgery was on August 26, 2009 and all went well. Unlike stories that are floating around about having short tubes if this surgery is performed her tubes after tubal surgery were not short they are 9 cm on both sides.

Now that Jen has “crossed over” to the other side she will be able to begin the natural process of having another baby. For more information on Essure removal with tubal surgery feel free to call the tubal surgery nurses for a free phone consultation. And stay tuned for part 2 of Jens Essure removal journey.

Tubal Surgery vs. IVF

It is no surprise that numerous women each year have a tubal ligation. Many times they think they have made the final decision and do not want anymore children and it is time to move on from this time in their lives. Then circumstances in life change and may times they have left a bad relationship and want to have another child with a new partner.

When making this decision many women do not know the best answer on how to go about being able to be pregnant and carry another child. Is the best choice tubal surgery or IVF treatment? There is a ton of information to be read on the Internet about IVF but what about tubal surgery? What are the chances that tubal surgery will work?

Dr. Gary Berger of Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center has just releases The Pregnancy Report 2009. This is the largest most comprehensive report on tubal surgery and pregnancy ever released. The wonderful thing is it yet again proves that tubal surgery has a better-proven pregnancy rate than in all areas of IVF in the study of over 5000 women.

Many times there are women who have never even heard of tubal surgery to undo and repair the tubal ligation that was previously performed.

Why do so many couples choose tubal surgery over IVF? There are many answers but as shown in the video above these seem to be the main issues:

Less expensive
Better pregnancy rates
Not having either no children or multiple children all in one shot
More natural
When the couple decides to have child two and on there is no further treatment needed
No fertility drugs involved

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center has a very user friendly website with a message board and blog. On the message board there are numerous women who discuss how they have tried IVF treatments only to face heartbreak and see money lost. After having tubal surgery they have hope restored and a few are on their second and third tubal surgery babies. There is still hope for women who have had a previous tubal ligation and the dreams of having more children are coming true for many women.
